Update: 17th of December

Dear Current and Alumni Students of AISI.

This email is to inform you of the great opportunity to enrol in a Bachelor Honours degree program at Aisi and receive credits for work you have already done in previous courses in the field of buidlign & construction.

We are very proud and pleased to announce that  the ESOS Agency, Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA)  has approved Kontea Pty Ltd trading as Australian Industrial Systems registration as a Higher Education Provider (PRV Code: 14310) and the Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours) Degree  on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Student (CRICOS) under section 10 of the ESOS Act.

This now allows AISI to provide Confirmations of Enrolment into its Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours) Degree to international students.

Australian Industrial Systems Institute through its long- standing history, and its expert management team, has an unmatched depth of expertise, especially in the area of Construction Engineering course offerings.  This makes the Institute as a registered Higher Education Provider, uniquely placed to address the needs of potential students and graduates in this field, and the needs of the building and construction industry alike.

The accreditation of the Honours Degree program allows our Institute to further enhance its pathway programs which start at AQF Level 3, and now move right through to AQF Level 8.

For example a student may select to study the following pathway at the Institute:

Certificate III in Carpentry → Certificate IV in Building & Construction(Building) → Diploma in Building & Construction (Building) → Advanced Diploma in Building & Construction Management → Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours) Degree

Our honours degree has the following highlighted advantages:

  • Current high demand globally.
  • Strong future growth as a priority industry.
  • High weekly pay rates for its graduates (Above average entry level wage of an average of $73200 in 2019)
  • Construction Management is in the medium and long term Strategic Skills in Demand  List

The Degree program is competitive with similar courses available at other Universities as follows:

Credits will be offered to graduates of the Diploma of Building & Construction and the Advanced Diploma of Building & Construction Management, making for a very worthwhile study pathway into an Honours degree program.  This is another very important advantage to study with AISI HEP.

For example, if a student has completed the Diploma of Building and Construction, then selects the Bachelor of Building & Construction Management (Honours) Degree, the student is able to save between $45,000 to $50,000 in total tuition fees paid, compared with Deakin, RMIT and Victoria University.  The time saving in this case is also advantageous of between 1 year to 1 year and 4 months.

Some Additional benefits from studying at AISI HEP:

  • More contact time by almost 30 percent compared with the other providers. This gives you more access to academic staff.
  • Small class numbers to facilitate classes for immersive and engaging learning environments.
  • The curriculum is based on practical programs and site visits.
  • Connection with industry through guest speakers and academic staff.
  • Opportunities for work placements and work integrated learning.

Classes for first trimester commence on 1st March 2021.

Places are filling fast.  Current and previous students of AISI will have an advantage and given priority to enrolment into the Honours Degree program.
